After a leisurely morning of sleeping in or strolling through Moscow’s beautiful architecture and city parks, we will embark on a tour of the city, allowing us to touch down in European Russia as a point of comparison to Asian Russia (Siberia). Although there’s enough to see in Moscow, Europe’s largest city, that we could remain here for weeks, we will focus today on the highlights: Red Square, the Bolshoi Theater, the former KGB headquarters, and prominent streets and landmarks. In the evening we will head back to the airport for our red eye flight to Yakutsk, Sakha Republic. (approx 7 hours, cost included).
